SMPS-Sacramento May 2017 Lunch Program – Local Flood Control Update
With this year’s significant rainfall and high river levels, flood control has become a hot topic in our region. Both the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys have communities that are now vulnerable to flooding, which is in stark contrast to the four-year drought we just experienced. Our local, state, and federal agencies have flood control projects planned to reduce the risk of flood-related impacts across California, protecting the health and welfare of the people who live here. We are excited to feature the following panel of experts and hear about what’s next for the design and construction of flood control improvements in our area.
Please join us for this enlightening seminar and panel discussion.
